This is a default message ;) I was Circe_X but I switched journal names (note: not changed journals but paid for the username to be changed) and it cleared my ENTIRE 'Friends Of' list to get rid of a few unwanted people who were still attached (but it meant that it got rid of everyone who had me added at the same time). If you click on my journal link, you'll see everything looks the same so I'm not some random nutter impersonating me. If I've added you recently, sorry to hassle you. And you'd be guessing right. I think I've been on LJ about five years (I'm aware that's not as long as some).

I was going through the memories on hp_essays, and I came across yours...

Mind if I add you? I don't have nearly enough in-depth fandom thinkers on my FL, and your journal seems like a breath of fresh air.

Which essay was it? I've only really written two, even though I have an entire list of ideas for essays to write! I need to get around to working on them.

I don't mind at all. I'll add you. While I do have a tendency to overanalyse and research things like crazy concerning HP, I don't do it often tbh unless I feel like it's something worth saying or probably hasn't been said so far. I know a lot of the fandom will go on and on about ships and certain characters but I won't discuss ships because I think that's a matter of personal taste, and I most likely will not discuss individual characters unless they particularly intrigue me [though I do have essay ideas concerning Draco, Snape, Harry & especially Voldemort as a child] or I need to comment on them in the context of something I am writing about the entire series/particular book/movie. You might not like what I have to say about some of the fandom however :x for example, I am certainly no Snape apologist and the fascination/adoration of the DEs irks me at times [though I find Marauder era Peter to be quite interesting, I do find Bella's madness and devotion intriguing even though she is a caricature and I do have a soft spot for Draco and his predicament].

Mostly, I just write about random things concerning my egocentric view of the world and my life.
